Update on TinyGrab
July 12th, 2011
Posted in News |

As of July 8th, TinyGrab is in the hands of new owners. Our first task will be stabilizing the app and helping current users via Twitter (Twitter.com/Tinygrab) and in the support forums (help.tinygrab.com).

In the last few weeks, you have likely experienced several issues, including TinyGrab crashing, and the grab.by domain going offline.  All the grab.by domain issues should be resolved, and URLs in the grab.by/XYZ format should now be working at this time. More related fixes coming soon.

Also, TinyGrab Mac version 2.04 is no longer crashing, and is uploading images normally. Please let us know if problems persist with this version.

We are committed to resolving each and every outstanding issue as quickly as possible, and will provide regular updates (and more complete explanations) over the coming days.

That’s fine, but if you don’t mind me asking; Who are you? I’ve not been following the goings on of late so maybe I’m alone, but it’d be nice if we knew who the new owners are. Thanks and best of luck.

We’ll be officially introducing ourselves after we’ve gotten past this initial push to fully stabilize the app. Hopefully within the next couple of days.

I continue to have trouble with the Mac version crashing consistently. I can’t even sign in and upload a grab on tinygrab.com. Makes the whole thing kind of pointless. I’ve tested on 3 macs, checked for upgrades, tried a fresh install. Someone please help. I use this on a daily basis for work and it’s a pain without it. Thanks.
