TinyGrab Framework for OS X

Download TinyGrab Framework for OS X

For the past two years we’ve had one reoccurring requests from other developers, open up the TinyGrab API and allow other apps to feature simple screenshot sharing. With TinyGrab 2.0 we’ve redesigned our API from the ground up in order to allow third party developers to add TinyGrab integration into their apps. Our public API isn’t quite finished yet, but we’ve got something for you to play around with in the meantime.

From today onwards developers can download and play with the TinyGrab Framework for Mac OS X. Currently this framework will allow developers to have their apps upload images to the TinyGrab service, along with basic account authorisation.

We’re working on creating frameworks for other operating systems, iOS and Windows are next up, but at the moment we’re focusing on finishing up our public API and getting our native client apps released.

TinyGrab for Courier

Integration is something that we’ve become very keen and focused on here at TinyGrab over the past few months. We believe that in order to be able to give you the best screenshot sharing experience around, and true value for your money, we need to be everywhere. Today sees our very first ever TinyGrab plugin for a third-party application, Courier.

Courier is one of the ultimate uploading and sharing apps for the Mac and is developed by our friends over at Real Mac Software. The TinyGrab destination plugin for Courier allows you to upload multiple photos, screenshots and other images to your TinyGrab account at once and in batch. Incredibly handy if you’re working on that new awesome web design and you have a few pages to show off.

Over the next few months we aim to open up our API to third party developers, so that they can incorporate TinyGrab into their apps and hopefully we can grow a vibrant community around plugins and extensions of our service. Courier is only the first step, if you have any suggestions as to any other services and applications you’d like to see us support please email info@tinygrab.com.
